Day 0 Travel from Mumbai to Indore


Board 12961 Avantika Express from Mumbai Central Station at 7 pm and Borivali at 7:30 pm. Overnight in the train. Play fun games and get your dinner packed! You can also order food online via Food on Track. Sleeps tight do not forget to get a bedsheet. You can also book your own 3AC tickets for train travel which is for 14 Hours.


Day 1 Reach Indore and move to Mandu


Get down at Indore station and take a drive in our force traveler bus or Innova to Mandu which us about 150 kms away from Indore station. Have breakfast in train so that when we get down we straightaway drive to Mandu for 2 Hours. Reach Indore by 9 am to reach Mandu by 11 am. Check in to our stay at Mandu is very close to the places of interest. You can freshen up and change to be ready for sightseeing. We hire a private government-approved heritage guide to exploring the places.


About Mandu: It is a ruined city in Dhar District of Madhya Pradesh, Hindustan ka Dil. architectural excellence that our ancestors seemed to have achieved. Day 2 Mandu to Maheshwar


Early morning wake up at 6 am and freshen up. Breakfast gets served and you check out post eating for Maheshwar, which is the beauty of Ahilyabai’s heritage and Ghats like the ones at Varanasi. It’s a 1-hour drive which means we reach Maheshwar by 9 am and start our sightseeing for the below places.


About Maheshwar: Maheshwar is a town in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh state, which boasts off a beautiful bunch of heritage making it picturesque and beautiful at the same time.

  • Rehwa Society – For handloom weaving
  • Shri Maheshwar Fort
  • Ahilyeshwar Temple


Have lunch at Maheshwar and leave for Indore. Post 2 hours drive explore the local food and shopping market in Indore to board your bus from Indore before 8 pm and reach Mumbai the next day by 7 am.
