Recognized by the UNESCO as the World Heritage Site, Perfectly well placed, tucked away in the ruins of the city of Vijayanagara, Hampi is known to have been one of the richest cities in those days. The place has also once been the pride and capital of the Vijayanagara Empire. The name 'Hampi' comes from 'Pampa', an old name for the River Tungabhadra. Hampi is perfectly perched between the Tungabhadra River on one side and hills towering the city on the other sides. A rich cultural heritage has been preserved, dating 2nd and 3rd Century BC.

EVENT ITINERARY
Day 0
05:00 pm Catch a Bus or Train to Hospet from Mumbai. Overnight Journey
Day 1
Meet our Leaders after reaching Hospet By Bus or Train.
Hop on To Local Bus to Reach Hampi & check in to the guest house.
Reach Hampi & Spend the Day Hire Scooters/Moped and head out to Sanakpur Lake and go for a coracle ride. Roam around hippie town. Have lunch Explore the other side of the river, soak in the beautiful views ahead out for enjoying in the sunset from the Monkey hill/ temple after a small hike.
Move towards the guest house. Have a nice dinner & enjoy the night in Cafe.
Day 2
Morning call. Have breakfast and get fresh
We will move towards the ruins side of Hampi by crossing the Tungabhadra River on a ferry boat. Check-in at a guest house.
Get on the bicycle to explore the famous temples of Hampi - Vithala temple, the Famous Chariot, Kings Balance, and around have lunch
Continue exploring Hampi ruins on cycles, Queen's bath, Pushkarni, etc.
Visit Virupaksha Temple, Krishna temple, old bazaar and explore the local market.
Get the bus from Hampi to Hospet and reach Hospet to catch the respective buses or train.
