If you are someone who has gone through Japanese Language Proficiency Test N5 (Beginner) level training &/or have basic exposure to Japanese language (speaking, reading and writing), then take up this course to up your knowledge and proficiency in this interesting language.
JLPT N4 is a 100-hours course towards preparing for the second exam in the series of tests to determine your proficiency in Japanese language. The course helps students develop Japanese language proficiency (JLPT- NIHONGO NORYOKU Level 4).
Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:
1. Read and write (reproduce) approximately 370 essential KANJI characters, the ON-KUN readings/pronunciation (in addition to the previously learnt characters Kanji) and use them appropriately in sentences. Around 900 new words (totally 1500 words including N5) and overall 100 grammar points are included.
2. Fulfill survival skill needed to read, listen/comprehend and write modern and simple business level Japanese (signs, memos, letters, and simple writing, etc.).
3. Get to know the exam format, question types, and scoring via practice tests

Facilitator for this workshop is Suman for whom, Japanese was first a need, due to her placement at Tokyo headquarters, and then developed into a passion with more exposure to Japanese culture, festivals, music, history and people. Suman is JLPT N3 certified (JLPT has 5 levels - N1 to N5, with N5 being the easiest) and has been successfully running Japanese certification courses and Japanese culture orientation programs at The Circular Square
