Having grown up listening to the nightingale’s voice since childhood, Ganga Sittrarasu has been inspired to become a singer by profession and with much encouragement and support from her parents, she pursued her dream. And with so much of living with the nightingale’s music, she tuned her singing style to follow the great legend. Ganga has achieved many milestones in her singing career and has completed 28 yrs in the film industry. She started as a backing vocal artiste for A.R.Rahman, working with him for over 10 yrs. And later, worked as a track singer for legendary music composers like Ilayaraja, Deva, Vidyasagar, Keeravani, Johnson, Jayachandran, Harris Jayaraj, Bharadwaj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Anu Malik and many more ! Ganga has over 800 songs to her credit with several hits in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada. Having sung alongside legends like Dr. Yesudas, SP Balasubramaniam, Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Unnikrishnan etc., she is most deserving to bring this much awaited tribute to our Legend – Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar.

The event will see a dazzling stage arrangement with live orchestration by Mounaraagam, and Ganga will be presenting some of the most popular hits of Lata Mangeshkar, handpicked for the tribute. The event will be co-hosted by ABBAS culturals and TVK academy.

Ganga will be supported by renowned singers like Prassan Rao from Bhopal, Josyula Shekar from Chennai and Wow Karthik – a brilliant specially abled singer.
