Looking for a platform for your first foray into the performance but worried you might break a string, lose your voice, or play to a crowd who barely knows much about you? Better to know what it's like to find yourself nervous, unready at this stage than on one that takes a lot more organization to reach.
At our open mic, we encourage the musically talented to come forward and take on the mic, try your piece in an intimate setting, have it heard by a fresh pair of ears and sit back down. While you are here, connect with others you see around, after all, you already have your common interests in music to chat about.
Plus we also have music trainers from Floyd's Academy of Music to join and pitch in at this event. So come over to express and enjoy at this open mic.
We have one mic per performer. Please bring along anything else needed for you to take on the stage. You may connect your backing track to speakers at the venue.
