The Everest of Maharashtra, Kalsubai Peak (5400 ft.) is the highest peak of the mountain range of Sahyadri. Kalsubai Peak is part of the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary which spreads from Kalasubai to Harischandragad. Kalsubai Peak is one of the most enjoyable treks in the rainy season which offers a view of Breathtaking lush green valleys, walk through clouds, roaring winds, Series of waterfalls its all packed into one.
On Kalsubai Peak top you can see a small temple of Kalsubai. Ratangad, AMK (Alang-Madan-Kulang), Harishchandragad, Ahivant, saptashrungigad, Markindya, Dhodap, etc. can be spotted from the Kalsubai Peak. Kalsubai Peak is a dream trek of every passionate trekker in Maharashtra to climb it at least once.
Itinerary
Day 1:
Travelers from Mumbai are supposed to join us at kasara railway station by 8:30 am. Meet our leaders/driver at the ticket counter of Kasara railway station. After roll count, proceed by private transportation Jeep towards the base village of Mt.Kalsubai (1646 Mts), Bari. Travel up to Kasara by Local Train Timings. Please check your train status a day before joining the trek, those who will join late after 9 am will have to reach the base village by self.

For Participants from Pune: Departure at 5:00 am. from Bank of Maharashtra, Shivaji Nagar, Pune. Reach base village by 10 am.
- Both the batches will Reach the Base Village by 10:30 am.
- Breakfast
- Start the Trek by 10:30 am. & Reach the top by 1 pm.
- Enjoy the view of the surrounding & descend back to the base by 4 pm.
- Lunch.
- Start the return Journey towards Pune/ kasara Railway Station by 5 pm.
- Reach Pune by 11:00 pm and Kasara by 6-7 pm.
- We may come an hour early or late.
Tour Concludes with Happy Memories.
Event Risk Profile
- Heavy rains are expected so please double pack your valuables to save them from getting wet.
- Wear good trekking shoes & clothing.
- Due to the monsoon season and various rock patches in this route, we recommend you to please take care while walking/climbing/trekking.
- Wearing of any valuables, ornaments, jewelry, etc. is prohibited.
- Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Trekking or any adventure activity is potentially risky.
- For all such events, you are at your own risk.
- Organizers are not responsible for any accident or compensation in whatsoever manner.
- You should strictly follow the code of conduct, to avoid troubling our fellow trekkers or other people from our group or outside.
- Do not misinterpret it as a PICNIC or LEISURE TOUR.
- We all are going for an adventurous and interesting trekking expedition.
- Note, this trek route may or may not have any fixed/proper/appropriate washrooms or bathrooms.
Advisory
- Pay attention to the tour leader or instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound experience.
- Do not consume alcohol or any other intoxicants during the tour.
- Avoid roaming during the night.
- Carry basic medications and a first-aid kit during the tour.
Cancellation Policy:
- If cancellations are made 15 days before the start date of the trip, 25% of the booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made 7-15 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of the booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
- If cancellations are made within 0-7 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of the booking value will be charged as cancellation fees.
- In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and in such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
- The trek needs a minimum of 9 bookings for each event, if bookings are less than 9 then we can cancel the event and those who have paid the fees will get the refund within 2-3 days.
Things to Carry
- Luggage packed in big good trekking sack, all luggage packed in a plastic bag.
- Complete spare set of extra clothes & socks
- Water bottle (at least 3 ltr) compulsory
- Electral/ Glucon-d energizers and personal Medicine.
- A sweater/warm wear/rainwear.
- Good trekking/sports shoes (sandals, chappals, floaters not permitted).
- Torch with Extra pair of Batteries (must)
- Camera, Binocular (Optional)
- Identity proof (must).
