Celebrate this Diwali with your own handmade lanterns.
You'll love the magic of turning a piece of paper into something useful or a toy or a pretty decoration.
In this workshop, we'll learn to make Origami Lantern using easy paper folding steps.
Origami (Ori meaning "folding", and kami meaning "paper" ) is the art of paper folding, which is often associated with Japanese culture. In modern usage, the word "origami" is used as an inclusive term for all folding practises, regardless of their culture of origin.
Benefits of Origami -
Origami is good for you as it develops eye hand coordination, sequencing skills, maths reasoning, spatial skills, memory, but also patience and attention skills.
