This is a Beginner's photography workshop where you will learn to take good, well composed photographs that are visually interesting. We will teach you everything you need to know about the manual mode of your camera. You will understand the basics of exposure, lensing, composition, and visual storytelling.
The first half of the day will be theory and the second half of the day will be practicals and critiquing. By the end of the workshop you would have developed the skills to become a confident photographer. Topics covered in workshop:
- Understanding how natural light works
- Camera functions
- Photography techniques
- Exposure Balance & DSLR camera modes (P/S/A/M modes)
- Composition & colour
- Lensing for different situations
- Critiquing your work
* Please bring your camera along for this workshop. It can be a DSLR, a compact point-and-shoot camera or even your smartphone. Please also bring a notebook/pen to make your notes. Lunch-on-the-go will be provided.
