Located on the northern bank of River Kollidam - (Cauvery's Tributary) & tucked away into the backwaters & mangrove forests, the campsite is a part of Pichavaram Mangrove Wetland Ecosystem.
Spend your weekend camping on the banks of backwater and explore the wilderness of river Kollidam by kayaking.
 
Learn Kayaking, Paddle Boarding from international certified kayaking instructors from a paddling academy 'Paddle for Future' & kayak your way to glory exploring the 20km backwater stretch of river Kollidam. After you are done you could also take refreshing dips (with life jackets) in the backwaters!
 
What's more! The campsite is devoid of any light pollution and perfect for a breathtaking stargazing experience and night sky photography. The camp is also home to a variety of birds and is a bird lovers' paradise.
 
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Leave Chennai by Saturday 9.00 am & reach the campsite by 2.30 pm.
2.30 pm: Welcome drinks & snacks on arrival at the campsite
3.30 pm: Discover Kayaking. Learn balance & different strokes, board handling and control, boarding maneuvers.
6.30 pm: Camp briefing & tent pitching session
8.00 pm Dinner
9.00 pm Stargazing, Icebreaking & Campfire session
Post campfire you can retire into your tents as and when you wish to
 
Day 2:
6.00 am - Wake up early and post-tea/coffee.
6:30 am - Go for a Kayaking expedition chasing the backwaters.
10.00 am - Finish breakfast, relax for some time and checkout
11.00 am - Visit Pichavarm Mangroves and go for boating.
3.00 pm - Reach Chennai
