Hubris

“Hubris.” is a Swiss post-rock band originating from Fribourg. Formed in 2014, the

instrumental quartet is characterised by their original style which blends an experimental touch

of post-rock, electronica atmosphere and some elements of the metal scene.

They draw their inspiration from bands like Jakob, This Will Destroy You, Tides of Man or Jon

Hopkins amongst others. With their style evoking introspection, hubris. characterise themselves

with the length of their compositions, allowing a range of evolving emotions through softness

and power.

Sometimes compared with other artists like Sigur Ros or Long Distance Calling, the band calls

forth emotions of its audience due to a heterogeneous musical landscape mixing poetic

ambiance and raw energy.

Space Is All we Have

Space was started by what were a mere bunch of students, in 2014, and was a competition machine that delivered over 50 winning performances on the state and national levels, impressing judges and audiences alike.

During this course of time, they realized the potential of the music and shifted their focus towards bigger things. Fast forward to 2019, and the band has taken their music to several music festivals and headlined college festivals alike. Having taken their time to perfect the sound in their heads, Space is now all set to pioneer a new genre of music with their debut album 'Thank You, Universe.' Their consistent live performances are a treat to both the eyes and ears, and they leave nothing more to be desired.

The Reasonable Hope

The reasonable hope is all about getting inspired by the Space around oneself; expressing thoughts and narrating. Stories through instrumental pieces and cohesive song writing.The band plays guitar and effects based extended Instrumentals, incorporating mellow bass lines and ambient soundscapes.Formed in 2013 , they went on to play a series of club shows , supporting a number of local and outstation bands in pune which further led them to play at the frog festival in pune in august'16 and india surf festival in orissa in november'16 . Their debute preminiscences was released in october 2017 which was lauded by music journalists and listeners alike and was also featured on qrated 'stop nine pick s for 2017 .
